Ameland-Holwert v.v.
Our new timetable will take effect from 1 January 2025. In general, it will correspond to the 2024 timetable, and the 75-minute timetable, which was introduced due to the problem with the channels, will be retained in 2025.

The second ferry will be deployed as soon as the astronomical water levels allow. Based on the expected water levels, we have scheduled 585 additional departures for next year. Because the tide is constantly changing, it is not possible to include this second ferry to our fixed timetable. These additional departures will only be published in the departure overview on our website: https://www.wpd.nl/en/ameland/departure-overview. 

Changes in the fast ferry service Ameland-Holwerd v.v.
There will be a number of changes for the 2025 timetable for the fast ferry Ameland-Holwert compared to 2024.

Changes
Monday-Sunday:
•    Ameland-Holwert, old departure time 09:20, new departure time 09:15.
•    Ameland-Holwert, old departure time 18:45, new departure time 18:15.
•    Holwert-Ameland, old departure time 20:00, new departure time 18:45.

Extra sailings
On Fridays and between 1 July and 31 August:
•    Ameland-Holwert at 20:00
•    Holwert-Ameland at 20:30

Lauwersoog-Schiermonnikoog v.v.
The timetables for the regular ferry and fast ferry service between Lauwersoog and Schiermonnikoog will remain unchanged in 2025 compared to 2024. All regular departures will remain the same as last year. The deployment of the second ship will be determined later based on passenger numbers.
